I took Spanish classes in high school but wanted to dive deeper, so I completed an internship at a Mexican Bakery in my town.
Soon I discovered that there were different languages that used different words to convey different concepts.
Coming from a low-income family, I’ve learned to be content with very little.
I’ve also learned to work very hard for the things that are important for me.
My passionate hobby: In my opinion, cooking is very useful in life, so cooking is the best hobby. When I started learning how to cook, I was about 5 years old. Cooking, traveling, fashion, sports, cars are all classic examples.
Cooking is handed down from my grandmother; my grandmother is a professional chef at her own restaurant where I learned how to cook. But since your audience is actually anyone in the world who has the Internet, even a blog about even more annoying hobbies can succeed. I was a shy child, so shy that I ran out of the room during the nativity play at my church because I was so nervous…and I was Mary! These experiences nourished my love for language and culture, and inspired my decision to double major as an undergraduate student – Spanish and Intercultural Studies. Is there something you could do all day and be completely satisfied? Now, I don’t mean just the words and grammar of languages, but rather the communication, self-expression, and transformation that comes as a result of different languages. I also went on several service trips and even served as an interpreter during a few of those trips.Anything you write will benefit from these simple parts of an essay: Your best essays will be about the things that light your fire. What topics do you find yourself arguing for or against?Choose the side of the topic you are "for" rather than "against," and your essay will be stronger.I counted the opportunity costs and gave things up in order to pay for school.I also worked several jobs in order to graduate with no debt.Some people will tell you to wait until you have finished writing to choose a title.I find a title helps me stay focused, but I always review mine when I'm finished to ensure that it's the most effective it can be.Just like everyone has some sort of passion, I believe everyone also has a dream.Graduating with this degree in applied linguistics will open innumerable doors to explore the world I have been living in.
